CHESLA Sponsors Connecticut’s First FAFSA Completion Challenge

The Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (CHESLA) announced that it will partner with the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) to support the first statewide Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Completion Challenge.

The goals of the Connecticut FAFSA Challenge are to increase FAFSA completion rates, college access and success among historically marginalized students. The Connecticut FAFSA Challenge will build awareness around the importance of the FAFSA and promote FAFSA completion in districts eligible for the challenge throughout the state. CSDE will select up to 10 districts to engage in the FAFSA Challenge.
